The 2008 HSBC Calgary Marathon medal will be a belt buckle!

Go the distance...42.2KM or 100,000 foot steps.

Have you ever wanted to have breakfast with 65,000 people? Or run through the jungle with Siberian Tigers? Well at this year's HSBC Calgary Marathon you can do just that! Join us for our new flat and fast course; you start off with a tour of downtown Calgary, a jaunt through the heart of the Calgary Stampede Grounds, a trip to the Calgary Zoo and a visit to some beautiful neighborhoods and parks...all this in one run!

The HSBC Calgary Marathon course is certified by AIMS (Association of International Marathon Society) and by Athletics Alberta and can be used as a qualifer for Boston.

Whether it is your first marathon or your 50th, there is no better run than the HSBC Calgary Marathon. We may be slighly biased but with beautiful scenery, friendly crowds, on course entertainment, a flat course and 1000+ volunteers, you will have the  support and encouragement you need to reach your goal.

If you're from out of town, you can take your marathon experience to the next level by enjoying the breathtaking vistas and scenery of Banff National Park or take part in the greatest outdoor show on earth - The Calgary Stampede. If Calgary is your home, you know how Calgary pulls out all the stops and does things right. This is truly one of the most unique and well run events in North America.
