Half the Battle...Twice the Fun...21.1KM or 50,000 steps...
Whether you’re training for your first 21.1 km challenge or you’re a half marathon veteran, this is a fun race to run! Our flat and fast course starts off with a tour of downtown Calgary, a jaunt through the heart of the Calgary Stampede Grounds, a trip through the Calgary Zoo and a visit to some of Calgary's friendly neighbourhoods...all in one run!
This is our fastest growing event as more and more people discover their love of running. The 1/2 marathon is challenging but not daunting and can be your annual training benchmark as you prepare for your first or next marathon. The Alberta Jeep Dealers 1/2 marathon is a must run for everyone. There is no better place to be then in Calgary at the beginning of the Stampede. Running the 1/2 marathon means a guilt free week of stampeding as all your training pays off, allowing you to slide back into your favorite Stampede gear for a week of Stampede fun!
