Lynn Cox - Marketing Director

Lynn brings over eight years of marketing, communications and public relations expertise to the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon. Having run her first half-marathon in 2009, Lynn has developed a love for the sport. Lynn oversees the organisation with a focus on sponsorship, marketing and promotions.

Cheryl Lowery - Race Director

Cheryl has been managing and continues to manage races all over Alberta and B.C. for over 10 years. An accomplished marathoner and Ironman Triathlete herself, she has also trained many people to achieve their own athletic goals. Cheryl's primary responsibilities are volunteer and course management and race day logistics.

Volunteers

We rely on our dedicated volunteers to make the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon a fun, safe and excellent race. In 2009, close to 1,000 committed Calgarians volunteered for the event. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available - when you sign up to volunteer you can choose the role that interests you the most.
