This event was one of the best I have ever been to. The organization, parking, and route was great. The west has outshined the east for all, well done Calgary. My children loved the excitement of the Timbits Marathon. My daughter, my true running supporter through many half marathon and four fulls told me, "This is the best organized race you have ever done!" Words from a 15 year old.

This was my first marathon in 8 years and I had planned on using it as a qualifier for Boston next April. When I registered, my target time was 3:30. Because of recent injuries and 3 months of missed training, I knew that I would not be able to run the race I had planned. I decided that I would use it as a training run, not be worried about time and have fun. Well, my time was the slowest of my career, but I had the most fun I have ever had in a race. The volunteers and water station attendants were spectacular. I made a point to try and thank everyone that I saw and anyone who helped me. Please give the volunteers a very big thank you. I think it is a lesson for me that I should spend more time in the back of the pack.

This was a fun race - thanks very much. The entertainment was much appreciated, as was the course through the zoo - just magical. Support along the way was excellent, water station people were fast, friendly & very supportive. I look forward to next year's race.

My kids participated in the Timbits Marathon - that was so exciting! I was just about in tears watching the kids take off running from the start line. What a fantastic way to get kids into the world of running/walking and fitness in general. My 6 year old completed the race and within a ½ hour wanted to go do it again.

I have run Boston and New York City and this race ranks up there as one of the best organized and run Marathons I have ran. My family ran the 1 mile race. I would love to run this race again. It is the best marathon I have run in Canada. Thanks

This is my third half marathon and I have to let you know that this was the best! I came all the way from Ontario so you made it worthwhile. The route was beautiful and challenging and the entertainment along the way kept me going. I was able to achieve a personal best. Thanks for the good time and I will be sure to pass it along that the Calgary Marathon is one of the best. I hope to come back soon.
