The Scotiabank Calgary Marathon is organized and operated by the Calgary Marathon Society, a nonprofit volunteer organization promoting health and fitness. Our volunteer board of directors is made up of CEO's, CFO's and business owners in their own right.

Dan Ouimet - Chairman
Dan Ouimet is a public affairs professional with ConocoPhillips Canada. He has over 15 years of experience in the field of public policy, communications and event management. In addition to being a competitor in both running and triathlons, he has also played a role on the organizational team of several major road races and triathlons.
Randy Coutts - Treasurer
Randy currently holds the position of Director, Product & Pricing, Independent Business & Agriculture with ATB Financial and he brings over 10 years of experience in Calgary's finance industry to the Calgary Marathon Society. Randy is an MBA graduate from Dalhousie University and an avid marathon runner and triathlete. He is also passionately committed to giving back to the community through volunteerism, having been involved with several non-profits including the United Way, the Mustard Seed and Momentum.
Louise Taylor - Secretary
Louise Taylor is a physiotherapist with the Downtown Sports Clinics in Calgary. Her training includes acupuncture and spinal manipulation, and her treatment style involves a strong emphasis on specific exercise to help rebalance the body.

Cathy Coutts
Cathy is a Branch Manager at RBC Royal Bank with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. As a leader and coach she promotes the growth of individuals thru the development of business and personal goals. Cathy is personally committed to health and wellness through running. She has completed several half marathons and is training for an upcoming full marathon. Cathy is also committed the health of Calgary communities through extensive Board involvement and volunteering over the past decade with non-profit organizations focused on poverty reduction and financial literacy.
Jeff Dyer
Jeff is Chief Operating Officer for the Alberta Mustard Seed and graduated with an MBA from the University of Alberta. Jeff is an effective leader who has a deep commitment to social health and wellness, and has served in senior management in the nonprofit sector for over 14 years. He is also a ten time marathoner.
Susan L. Schulli
Sue Schulli is the Vice President & General Counsel of Marketing, with Nexen. She received her Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta and LLB from the University of Calgary, and was called to the bar in 1983. She has worked in the marketing area with major producers and small marketers until joining Nexen in 1998. Sue has been on the Board of Directors for Theatre Junction for eight years and is an active volunteer and raced in the road race community in Calgary for many years.
