The Scotiabank Calgary Marathon is organized and operated by the Calgary Marathon Society, a non-profit volunteer organization promoting health and fitness. Our volunteer board of directors is made up of CEO's, CFO's and business owners in their own right.

Dan Ouimet - Chairman
Dan Ouimet is a public affairs professional with Denali Pipeline. He has over 15 years of experience in the field of public policy, communications and event management. In addition to being a competitor in both running and triathlons, he has also played a role on the organizational team of several major road races and triathlons.
Ted Finningley - Treasurer
Ted Finningley is a Chartered Accountant who has practiced extensively in the income tax and estate planning areas for many years. Ted has written and lectured extensively on tax and succession planning matters for several professional organizations and industry groups. Ted's practice is based in Calgary and serves clients throughout Alberta.
Margot Glover - Secretary
Margot Glover is a Registered Psychologist employed with the Calgary Board of Education. Her role involves working directly with students as well as serving in an Psychology Area Leader capacity.

Cynthia Clark
Cynthia Clark brings to the board her expertise in the areas of sales and marketing with particular emphasis in customer service. Over the years she has been a highly successful entrepreneur in a variety of sectors - commercial & retail sales, human resources and business development. Cynthia contributes to the community through mentoring, fundraising events and volunteering. Although Cynthia does not run, her interests include a variety of outdoor sports, travel, the arts, fine wine and food.
Heather Boychuk
Heather Boychuk is the Divisional Controller - North America for SMART Technologies, based in Calgary. She is a CGA, MBA with 25+ years experience in Accounting and Systems. Heather is a former competitive swimmer and recreational runner.
Louise Taylor
Louise Taylor is a physiotherapist with the Downtown Sports Clinics in Calgary. Her training includes acupuncture and spinal manipulation, and her treatment style involves a strong emphasis on specific
exercise to help rebalance the body.
Robert Dunstan
A board member since 1993, Robert is the President and CEO of ESI Energy Services in Calgary, Alberta. Robert brings over 33 years experience in management and finance expertise to the Marathon and is an MBA graduate from University of Western Richard Ivey School of Business. Robert
is an avid runner who has competed in numerous events.
Tom Short
Tom Short is the President of Rare Method, a leader in interactive marketing in North America. Tom is very active in the Calgary community working with several not-for-profit and charitable organizations. Rare Method has been recognized by the Profit 100 as one of the fastest growing companies in Canada and as one of the top 50 small to mid-sized employers in Canada by the Queen's School of Business, Queen's Centre for Business Venturing and Hewitt Associates.
Susan L. Schulli
Sue Schulli is the Vice President & General Counsel of Marketing, with Nexen. She received her Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta and LLB from the University of Calgary, and was called to the bar in 1983. She has worked in the marketing area with major producers and small marketers until joining Nexen in 1998. Sue has been on the Board of Directors for Theatre Junction for eight years and is an active volunteer and raced in the road race community in Calgary for many years.
