Calgary Search and Rescue Association (CALSARA) is a volunteer run, registered charity dedicated to assisting local government agencies, such as Police, RCMP, and Parks Canada, by providing trained and equipped volunteers for ground search and rescue operations. CALSARA is committed to the preservation of life by locating and rescuing lost persons, recovering evidence, responding to civil emergencies and providing outdoor safety education.
