How to be a Great Spectator

Plan your location ahead of time and let your runner know where you will be so they can look for you.

Make LOTS of noise! You can pick up a noisemaker at the Start/Finish spectator area near Murdoch park and from the Aid Stations on course. You can find course maps on our website under Race Information.

Decorate the Streets with Signs: Runners love to read signs along the race course to help break the monotony. Try some of these:

"All walls have doors"

"Don't worry, toenails are overrated"

"Run like you stole something"

Have a Finish-Line Plan: The finish line area can be crowded and chaotic, so make sure you and your runner have a plan to meet when they cross the finish line.
